Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

ValuDomain ("we", "us") provides domain valuation, auction monitoring, and portfolio-management tools at valudomain.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: email address, display name, and authentication identifiers from sign-in providers (e.g. Google OAuth).
  • Service data: domains you value, monitor, or import into your portfolio; valuation reports; Pro Report contents; tags and notes you create.
  • Integration data: Telegram chat IDs you bind for notifications; webhook payloads you configure.
  • Operational data: request logs, error traces, and basic usage metrics needed to run and debug the service.

3. How we use your data

  • To deliver the features you request (valuations, monitoring, alerts, reports).
  • To send transactional emails and notifications you have opted into.
  • To prevent abuse, enforce quotas, and secure your account.
  • To improve our valuation models and comparable-sales database, as described in §5.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party advertising inside the product.

4. Sharing

We share data only with infrastructure providers strictly required to operate the service:

  • Hosting and database (Lovable Cloud / Supabase).
  • Email delivery (Resend / equivalent).
  • Domain data enrichment (DataForSEO, WhoisXML, USPTO, public WHOIS, etc.).
  • AI inference for Pro Reports (Lovable AI Gateway).

We do not sell or rent personal data to advertisers, brokers, or data resellers.

5. Aggregated and de-identified data

Domain auction results that are already publicly visible on third-party marketplaces (DNJournal, NameJet, GoDaddy Auctions, DropCatch, Sedo, etc.) and that the service observes on your behalf may be added to our comparable sales database in an aggregated, de-identified form — meaning we store the domain, settled price, sale date, and venue, but never the identity of the user who monitored, bid on, or researched it. This aggregated dataset is used to improve valuation accuracy for all users and may be displayed publicly as anonymous comparable sales (the same way industry references like DNJournal and NameBio publish settled prices).

We do not publish, sell, or share information that could identify which user monitored a specific domain, what bids you placed, your watchlists, your tags, your notes, or any other private activity inside the product.

6. Retention

We retain account and service data for as long as your account is active. On account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate fraud-prevention purposes. De-identified comparable-sales records (§5) are retained indefinitely because they no longer contain personal data.

7. Your choices

  • Access, export, or delete your account data by emailing privacy@valudomain.com.
  • Unsubscribe from any non-essential email via the link in the footer of each email.
  • Disable Telegram notifications at any time from the Notifications tab.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is limited to authorized personnel and gated by row-level security policies.
